The night at the Invalides with the hotel du Cadran

It is not easy to combine education and entertainment. And yet this is the wager that the instigators of the Night at the Invalides have succeeded. This Parisian show that you have the opportunity to attend not far from the Hotel du Cadran in Paris 7!

The Night at the Invalides

A scenography by Bruno Seillier

A little under an hour. That’s the time needed to tell 3000 of a very rich history through high quality video mapping. The Gauls, the Sun King, Napoleon… Characters who have marked the Paris of yesterday and today are, no pun intended, brought to light in the inner courtyard of the Invalides.

We owe this majestic staging to Bruno Seillier. He also took advantage of other tourist attractions that make up the beauty of the French heritage. Such as the Palace of the Popes of Avignon and the Palace of Versailles. Among the voices that tell the story of the capital’s highlights is that of the stainless steel and fascinating actor André Dussollier.

Practical information

The show is offered to the public every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between July 12 and August 13 inclusive. In July, the festivities start at 10:30 pm. In August, the Night at the Invalides kicks off half an hour earlier.
Ticket prices vary between 15 and 23 euros. History buffs will not fail to visit the church of the Dome after the performance.

The Hôtel du Cadran and its advantageous location

A Paris 7 hotel close to the disabled

Among the activities to be practiced this summer in the capital, it is difficult to find some closer to our establishment. Indeed, the Hôtel des Invalides where this event is held is less than 500 metres as the crow flies from the Hôtel du Cadran. In 5 minutes, you can reach this historic place and marvel at this monumental summer show.

The historic heart

Immerse yourself a little more in the history of the City of Light by discovering other sites worthy of interest. For example, the Sainte-Chapelle, with its sumptuous stained-glass windows and the former royal abbey of the Val-de-Grace, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture.
Among the emblematic monuments that are hard to escape, we invite you to linger in front of the Pantheon overlooking the Latin Quarter and take the time to stroll around the Ile de la Cité and the Ile Saint-Louis.
