Next stops : Rue Mouffetard and Place de la Contrescarpe. During the day, you will have the opportunity to have a coffee on a sunny terrace. During the night, there are some trendy places that can arouse your curiosity.
A little further west, two historic spots are to be discovered. We name the Pantheon and its impressive dome, and the former Royal Abbey of Val-de-Grace, which remains the most sculpted church in France.
Very accessible by public transit
When we get closer to the Seine, we have the opportunity to explore the Latin Quarter which houses among other things the Cluny Museum. This Flamboyant Gothic building houses priceless collections that span the ages from Antiquity to the Renaissance. A stone’s throw away, it is Notre-Dame de Paris whose fire has hit the headlines on the Île Saint-Louis.
